Apprentice – Business Administration
Lake District Creamery
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our team at the Lake District Creamery. Alongside your day to day work you will be enrolled on a Level 3 Business Administration Course at Lakes College. The role will cover 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday) with 1 day per week at college.
Salary: Around £15,000
The Role
As a Business Administration Apprentice you will typically support the day-to-day operations of our business while gaining practical experience and training in various administrative tasks. Some common responsibilities of this role will be:
- Assisting with general office duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents.
- Supporting administrative staff with data entry, record keeping, and other clerical tasks.
- Helping to organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
- Learning how to use office software and systems for tasks like word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Contributing to special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Undertaking periods of protected learning (20% of time) to prepare for and meet apprenticeship standard requirements and end point assessment.
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop essential skills in communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving. This role serves as a valuable entry point into the world of business administration and can lead to further career opportunities in the field.
