We have two well-invested, efficient creameries
Together our two UK creameries can produce almost 80,000 tonnes of cheese a year.
Both sites produce high-quality, award-winning cheese for sale into the UK retail market as well as for export to more than 26 countries across the globe. Our sites have seen multi-million-pound investment over recent years to improve capacity and enhance productivity and energy use.
What’s more, we are working hard to ensure we bring our regenerative principles to life every day in our creameries, from working to reduce water and electricity use, mitigating our effluent emissions through nutrient offset partnerships with surrounding farmers, or supporting the local communities we operate within.
The Lake District Creamery
The Lake District Creamery has undergone a £20m investment programme in the last four years, which has facilitated a 40% increase in capacity, enabling the site to process 1 million litres of milk every day.

The Haverfordwest Creamery
We have invested more than £15m into our Haverfordwest Creamery in the last four years, helping us to build capacity to around 40,000 tonnes of cheese a year, whilst improve operating efficiency.

Lake District Biogas
Our biogas plant manages the effluent treatment from the Lake District Creamery to produce renewable biogas, which is sold to the national grid, delivering a net benefit in our carbon emissions of around 4,000 tonnes a year.

Helping the planet
Our anaerobic digestion business adjacent to our Lake District Creamery utilises effluent treatment from the site to produce renewable biogas.
