September milk price to increase by 2.14ppl

29 July 2022

First Milk has today announced that its member milk price will increase by 2.14ppl from September 1, 2022.

This will take its milk price on a manufacturing standard litre to 48.64ppl from September 1, 2022, including the member premium.

Commenting on the announcement, Robert Craig, vice chairman and farmer director, said:

“The dairy markets appear to be stabilising somewhat and we continue to do everything we can to recover returns from the marketplace and deliver these to our members as quickly as possible, recognising the considerable inflationary cost pressures our members face.”
