First Milk announces its June milk price to reduce by 1.40ppl

4 May 2023

First Milk has today announced that its milk price will reduce by 1.40ppl from June 1, 2023, taking its price to 37.89 ppl for a manufacturing standard litre, including the member premium.

Commenting on the announcement, Robert Craig, farmer director and vice chairman, said:

“We understand that this further reduction in milk price will be unwelcome, but it does appear that dairy markets are stabilising and, as always, we’ll continue to work to maximise the milk price for our members in the months ahead.”
