The Role

  • Ability to build strong relationships with our customers and respond to them in a timely and professional manner to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are kept appropriately informed of any customer developments as necessary
  • Capture and process customer orders and contracts relating to cheese, cream, WPC80 and whey
  • Manage export contracts and the associated documentation to ensure the supply chain runs smoothly
  • Co-ordinate with customers and hauliers to arrange timely collection and delivery for products
  • Process customer invoicing
  • Manage customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner and to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Supports the development of a continuous improvement culture by sharing examples of best practices and new ideas
  • Provide Management Reporting Information as required

About You

You will need:
•     Previous experience in a customer service position preferably in the food industry

  • A proactive individual with the ability to plan effectively and prioritise work requirements, including during dynamic situations and tight timescales, whilst maintaining accuracy at all times
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, alongside strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills, including being fully proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline
