From May, the Lake District Dairy Co. will be launching its new-look packaging with a special on-pack competition and promotion on its 'Deliciously Moreish' (350g) mature cheddar. The competition will offer consumers the opportunity to win a luxury family weekend break - for up to 2 adults and 4 children - in partnership with MacDonald Hotels & Resorts.
The exclusive promotion will also offer shoppers a 25% discount on standard room rates at a wide range of Macdonald Hotels across the UK, located in both prime city centre locations, as well as scenic countryside retreats.
First Milk marketing director David Young comments, "Our new packaging uses some subtle changes to highlight and make more of our rich British farming heritage. We've also made more of the brands distinctive 'silhouette' landscape as well as adding a 'Made by British Farmers' stamp which will be visible on all of our Lake District Dairy Co. packaging going forward.
"The quality and aspirational element of the promotion, is a great fit for our brand and one that rewards our consumers with something of real value at this time of year."
The new packaging will also see a new QR code on the back of packs that will allow consumers to scan the code using their smartphones or tablets, to then access a Lake District Dairy Co. page with exclusive recipes.
