Sports nutrition company CNP Professional - purchased by First Milk in May 2012 - this week announce their headline sponsorship of the Ultimate Strongman Giant Weekend, taking place 22nd - 24th August 2013 at Belfast's Odyssey Arena.
Having supported the competition as title sponsor since 2004, this year sees CNP Professional celebrate the tenth year of association with the most dedicated strong-man athletes in Britain.
The participants will undergo a series of gruelling trials and challenges, including a 12 tonne truck pull, car rolls and 300kg+ deadlift rounds. The weekend culminates with the winner being awarded the CNP Professional trophy.
"The Ultimate Strongman competition shares CNP's values of strength, dedication and determination." says David Young, Marketing Director at First Milk, "We have a strong heritage in strength sports, and this sponsorship allows us to highlight our continued support in this field, as CNP grows into new markets."
"The CNP Professional brand offers a broad range of nutritional products for sportspeople - from elite athletes such as the Team Sky cycling team to everyday gym goers - looking to access top quality products that can help them achieve their physical goals, as well as support them in their fitness challenges."

About CNP Professional
CNP is a major sports nutrition business that supplies both mainstream and dedicated sports nutrition users. The brand produces a range of products for the UK and International markets.
High profile supporters of the CNP professional Pro Strength and Elite ranges include British Cycling, Team Sky, Arsenal Football Club, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Manchester City and West Ham Football Club.
This month CNP launched a new addition to their Pro Strength range, Pro Slam, a pre-workout shot which can be taken during the day as you would any other supplement. Contained within a 65ml bottle, the shot allows users to "down in one" the high performance nutrients required before even the most demanding training sessions; without the large intake of liquid immediately prior to exercise which is normally associated with pre-workout drinks.
