Chairman’s Statement: As we have seen from the results of others who operate in the UK dairy sector, 2008 / 09 was a year of challenges and volatility. Chairman’s Statement: After a short period of consolidation while we integrated the cheese and ingredients businesses we purchased in late 2006, we delivered very good financial results in 2007/08. It is a great credit to everyone in the First Milk family that such a strong performance was delivered against the backdrop of an extremely competitive marketplace.
