Bill Mustoe, Chairman

Bill Mustoe was appointed chairman in October 2009. Bill has broad director level experience of both private label and branded businesses in the ambient, frozen, chilled and fresh markets within the UK and internationally.

He has chaired a number of well-known businesses including the European arm of Cott Beverages, the largest private label cola supplier in the world and Whitworth, the largest dried fruit company in the UK.

Prior to this, Bill held European and UK executive roles with the Campbell’s Soup Company including President Business Development Europe, President European Speciality Foods and Group Managing Director, UK.


 
Jim Maguire, Group Finance Director
altJim Maguire is a qualifiied chartered accountant and has 20 years' senior finance experience within the UK dairy sector. Jim is closely involved in all Group investment strategy planning and implementation.
 
Tom Campbell, Elected Director
Tom Campbell was elected to the First Milk Board in 2004 and runs a 230-acre farm in West Kilbride, Ayrshire, with 90 cows producing over 650,000 litres per year. In his capacity as local representative, Tom represents members in North Ayrshire, Clyde, Central and East. Tom is chairman of First Milk Academy.
 
Richard Davis, Elected Director
altRichard Davis has a 250-acre farm with 110 cows producing one million litres per year.  He served as a First Milk director from 2001 until 2008 and is the local representative for East Anglia and the South East.  Richard is also a Board Member of dairyCo and a member of the NFU's dairy board.
 
Roger Evans, Elected Director
Roger Evans runs a 350-acre family farm in Shropshire with his son David. The farm has a dairy herd of 190, producing 1.3 million litres per year. A former chairman of First Milk, Roger is locla representative for Shrophsire, Montgomery & Worcester. A board member of Dairy UK, Roger received the 2008 Dairy Industry Award for his outstanding contribution to the industry.
 
Mike Gorton, Elected Director
altMike Gorton farms 70 cows along with his father Geoff at the family farm in Over Alderley in Cheshire. Mike was elected to the First Milk Board in May 2009 and was previously vice-chairman of the local representative group. He currently chairs the North West Dairy Group, which includes representatives from Robert Wiseman Dairies, Arla, Dairy Farmers of Britain and Promar.
 
Beverley Hodson OBE, Non-Executive Director

Beverley Hodson is former Managing Director of WHSmith UK Retail, Dolcis Ltd and Cable & Co. Beverley joined the First Milk Board as a non-executive director in 2005. She also holds non-executive director positions with NFU Mutual, Ranstad NV and Iforce.  Beverley is our First Milk representative on the Robert Wiseman Dairies plc Board, where we have a 10% shareholding.


 
Hugh Parker, Elected Director
altHugh Parker farms in a family partnership with wife Maureen and borther John on a part owned/part tenanted 430-acre unit near Stranraer.  His dairy herd produces 1.9million litres of milk per annum.  Since 2003, Hugh has been First Milk's local representative serving the Stranraer area.
 
Eric Sanderson, Non-Executive Director
Eric Sanderson joined the First Milk Board in 2006. Eric is former chief executive of group treasury operations with Bank of Scotland Group, former chief executive of British Linen Bank, former chairman of Kwik-Fit Insurance Services Ltd and MyTravel Group plc. Eric is currently non-executive chairman of Marylebone Warwick Balfour Group Plc.
 
Richard Twose, Elected Director
altRichard farms in a family partnership near Whitland in West Carmarthenshire, where the family milk 350 pedigree Holstein cows on 500 acres. There are also beef and sheep enterprises on the farm. A First Milk Board Director since November 2008, he is the local representative for West Carmarthenshire. Richard is a past secretary and chairman of the South Wales Holstein club.
 
Peter Humphreys, Chief Executive
altPrior to joining First Milk in 2005, Peter was group chief executive of CeDo, a leading European manufacturer of disposable household products. Peter has also worked across Europe and China in large multi-national blue chip corporations and smaller international private businesses.
