First Milk Lifts Milk Price
First Milk will increase their standard litre milk price by 0.25ppl from 1 February 2010.
Chairman Bill Mustoe commented, “There are a number of projects running throughout our business right now to reduce our costs and improve our profit streams. These are now starting to bear fruit and allow us to make this initial small increase to our members milk price.
“This move is a step in the right direction and we will make further steps as soon as we can.”
