Our Brands
At the Scottish Highlands & Islands Cheese Company premium brand cheeses are created using long established methods based on traditional recipes. Each of the cheeses is skilfully made in its own creamery using milk from local dairy herds grazed on lush coastal pastures.

Years of expertise and a passion for cheesemaking characterise the process of creation at each of the creameries and have led to the award wining cheeses below:

Mull of Kintyre
The Campbeltown Creamery has been making cheese since the early 1900s. The lush pastures of the Kintyre peninsula help to produce a rich creamy milk giving this delicious, strong cheese a unique sharpness and classic extra mature flavour.

Isle of Bute
With the Gulf stream bringing warm air over the sea to this endearing Isle, Bute has both a special climate and special character to its milk. Isle of Bute cheddar made at the famous Rothesay Creamery, combines both to produce a robust, mature flavoured cheese with a unique savoury taste.

Isle of Arran
Hand-made in the most traditional manner at the Torrylinn Creamery on the beautiful Isle of Arran, this mature cheddar is made to a unique Dunlop recipe. A well rounded cheese with a sweet, slightly buttery taste, it is available in several different sized formats including the sought after Arran truckle - hand waxed at the creamery.

Scottish Pride
Made to a special recipe, Scottish Pride is produced using 100% guaranteed Scottish milk, sourced from First Milk’s dairy farmers. It's mild, creamy taste appeals to the whole family as an everyday cheddar.
