Welsh rugby legends, the Quinnell family, have thrown their weight behind Wales’ latest hero, the Pembrokeshire Cheese Company.
British Lions and Wales hero Derek, and his international-capped sons Scott and Craig are all giving their backing to the 100% Welsh cheddar, made with 100% Welsh milk, from the award-winning Haverfordwest creamery in west Wales.

Elin Jones, Rural Affairs Minister for Wales, threw her backing behind the new 100% Welsh cheddar from the Pembrokeshire Cheese Company.
The Minister sampled the range of premium cheddars made from 100% Welsh milk by the award-winning Haverfordwest Creamery in Wales, when she visited the First Milk stand at the Royal Welsh Show today (Monday 21 July). |

First Milk Pays Out Processing Interest Payment |

Reflecting the strong performance of the business in 2007/08, the First Milk Board has agreed that a sum of £1.85 million will be shared among members in the form of a processing interest payment. As an example, a typical million-litre producer will receive a payment of just over £1000. Payments will be made on 25 July.

Employees at the Haverfordwest creamery in West Wales are celebrating a gold award from this year’s prestigious Royal Highland Show for their Organic Mild cheese.
The creamery, owned by First Milk, the UK’s largest farmer-owned co-operative, also scooped two silver awards and three bronze trophies at the Edinburgh show.

Employees at The Lake District Creamery in Aspatria are celebrating four gold awards for their cheese – with only a quarter of the show season under their belts.
The creamery, which is owned by First Milk, the UK’s largest farmer-owned co-operative has also scooped two silver awards and four bronzes in the agricultural shows so far.
