First Milk’s 2008 AGM, Dinner and Conference will take place in Pembrokeshire on November 3 and 4.
Following on from the success of last year’s event in Cumbria, we will host a pre-AGM dinner on the evening of 3rd November.
The next morning, Chief Executive Peter Humphreys and his team will give presentations on each of the divisions – Milk Operations; First Milk Cheese Company and First Milk Ingredients – and will answer questions from members.
The formal proceedings of the AGM will take place after lunch, with the event closing in mid-afternoon.
Group communications director, Paul Flanagan, urged members to put the date in the diary. “We are working hard to create a bigger and better event for our members around the formalities of the AGM. Building on the feedback from members last year, we will be making a number of improvements to make it a ‘must attend’ event.
“We committed to taking the AGM around the country in order that all of our members have an opportunity to attend. With good flight connections to Cardiff from all parts of the UK, there is also the potential for members to co-ordinate travel plans via cars or buses so that we can have representation from all corners of the membership.
