First Milk Home

A senior delegation from ASDA visited Cumbria to see First Milk in action. The objective of the visit was to give them a broad view of our business which included a tour of member Terry Johnstone’s farm; a tour of the creamery; a tutored cheese grading session and a detailed discussion of business development opportunities.

Steve Knight, Account Director for ASDA (pictured far left) commented: “It was a very productive meeting. Our aim with ASDA is to build a broad interface and through this develop a collaborative relationship. A large number of people from across our business were involved in making the ASDA visit to our creamery a success and we clearly demonstrated our capability, our expertise, and why we are the right dairy business for them to work with in the long term.”
