First Milk farmer director Richard Davis has been elected vice-chairman of DairyCo. He will represent the organisation in the absence of chairman Tim Bennett at both DairyCo and Agricultural, Horticultural Development Board meetings.
“DairyCo is much more farmer-focussed rather than marketing focussed and it is important that farmers understand that change in emphasis. We have undertaken a number of visits around the country to hear directly from farmers about what they expect, including the recent meeting in Ayr.”
