We have delivered an industry first with a film which captured our recent AGM conference available to view on our website www.firstmilk.co.uk
The AGM was extended to create a conference for members, providing more information to help you gain a wider understanding of the business. For the first time, we held a pre-AGM dinner where Lord Rooker (minister for sustainable food, farming and animal health) was our guest speaker. The following day we had presentations from each of our Operating divisions, followed by AGM business.
Chief Executive Peter Humphreys, commented: “We have created a 10-minute film of the event to share a flavour of the occasion. With 2600 members stretching from Central Scotland to the South of England, and from West Wales to East Anglia, we recognise that not all our members can attend events like our AGM.
“This means that we need to be innovative and use a range of communication channels to engage with members and others in the industry who are interested in our progress. Using our website, as we have done with this AGM film, provides us with a range of opportunities to communicate our messages.”
