First Milk Direct’s electricity deal is particularly good for members, with the potential to make significant savings. Philip Hanley, who milks 100 cows at Manor House Farm, Allonby, Maryport in Cumbria is one First Milk member who contacted First Milk Direct to try and shave some money off his electricity bill. He’d been surfing the internet on electricity saving sites looking to save money, only to find out that businesses were not included. But with one call to First Milk Direct and a few details on his usage, Philip is now projecting to save around £1600 on his electricity bill over the next twelve months.

It’s certainly a handy saving. We weren’t getting a good price from our previous supplier and I’d been looking around to change. But by calling First Milk Direct, they did all the hard work for me. It was very easy. My electricity usage is probably quite typical for farms, so I would reckon many other members could make similar savings to me,” explained Philip.

Now Philip is looking at First Milk Direct to help him save money on other outputs like fertiliser.
