Cluster Extension (February 08)
With the success of First Milk Direct’s Cluster Exchange programme, we are now extending the range of cluster options in order to provide every member with an offering.

  We have become the UK’s biggest single user of triangular liners since we launched Cluster Exchange last year - a managed liner change regime that improves milking efficiency and quality and lowers costs.

To ensure we continue this progress, there are two new cluster options on offer for a limited period at heavily discounted rates – 50% of the normal First Milk price. Once these sell out, we will revert to the normal price which is still half the price available from a typical dealer.

The new offering will suit ACR systems, parlours with positive air release and differing sizes of milk tubes – so there is something to suit every member.

Exclusive to First Milk Direct within the Cluster Exchange programme, the Avon Milk-Rite liner offers improved milking efficiency through reduced liner slippage, speed of milking and improved teat health due to the innovative triangular liner/shell combination. Members already using this liner are reporting reduced levels of clinical mastitis.

Every liner returned under the Cluster Exchange scheme is tested and assessed to determine any build up of fat deposits which enables members to identify any milking point or jetter not working correctly or efficiently and to rectify this before the problem escalates.
