The date of 29 February has two reasons to be significant for First Milk members:-
Production Forecasts Letters requesting production forecasts are being sent to members during February. Please ensure your production forecast has been returned no later than 29 February to ensure you continue receiving the forecasting bonuses from April 2008 onwards.
Both milk recording agencies (NMR and CIS) have forecasting services which may be of assistance and members using their services should contact them directly for more details. We also continue to link up with Milk4cast who are an independent company that can provide a forecasting service. Profile Adjustment Scheme We recently introduced this new payment scheme whereby members can opt to be paid on the Profile Adjustment Scheme rather than Dual Pricing from April 2008. Please refer to the recent communications for details of how the scheme operates or speak with your Area Manager.
If you feel the Profile Adjustment Scheme is the right option for you, please remember to return the reply slip in the pre-paid envelope by 29 February. If you wish to stay on Dual Pricing you do not need to do anything.
